Pelaris MCP tools, answered
What is the Pelaris MCP server? +
It is the connection that lets AI assistants use Pelaris, the AI fitness coach. It runs at https://api.pelaris.io/mcp on the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) and gives your assistant 29 tools to read, log and adapt your real training program.
Which AI assistants can use the Pelaris tools? +
ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini and Le Chat, plus any assistant that accepts a custom MCP connector. Each one reaches the same 29 tools.
Can the assistant change my training without asking? +
No. 13 tools only read. Anything that writes is confirmed with you first, and the 4 sensitive tools that delete or archive are confirmed every time.
How does sign-in work? +
OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. Your assistant opens a Pelaris sign-in page, you approve the access it asks for, and you can revoke it any time from the assistant or in Pelaris under Connected Apps.
Is it free? +
Connecting is free and workout tracking stays free forever. Coaching is the optional paid part of Pelaris, and the tools reach whichever plan you are on.
