Connect Apple Health or Health Connect
Last updated
Connecting Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android) lets the workouts you record anywhere, on your watch or in other apps, flow into Pelaris. Your coach sees your real training load, and matching planned sessions complete themselves.
This connection is available in the Pelaris mobile apps only. Apple Health and Health Connect live on your phone, so the web app cannot read them.
Connect
- Open the Pelaris app and go to the Profile tab, then Connected Apps.
- Tap Apple Health on iPhone, or Health Connect on Android.
- Review what will be shared. Pelaris asks to read workouts and heart rate, nothing else.
- Grant permission on the iOS or Android permission screen.
That is it. Pelaris syncs each time you open the app, reading your latest workouts and heart rate into your training history.
What syncs, and what happens with it
- Workouts: type, date, and duration, as summaries. GPS routes and location data are never imported.
- Heart rate: from your workouts, so your coach can see effort, not just volume.
- Auto-complete: when a synced workout matches a planned session, Pelaris marks the session done for you.
- Coaching: your AI coach uses a summary of your last 28 days of training to inform your programs.
Access is read-only. Pelaris never writes anything back to Apple Health or Health Connect, and your data is used for coaching only, never for ads.
Disconnect
Open Connected Apps and disconnect from the Apple Health or Health Connect card. When you disconnect, you can choose to delete the data Pelaris imported. You can also revoke Pelaris’s access at any time in your iPhone or Android settings.
If workouts are not appearing, check that Pelaris still has permission in your device settings, then reopen the app to trigger a sync. Still stuck? Contact us and we will take a look.
