Connect Polar to Pelaris
Last updated
Connecting Polar lets your runs, rides, swims, and strength sessions flow into Pelaris automatically, so your coach sees the training you do outside the app and programs around it.
Connect
- Go to the Profile tab and find Connected Apps (also reachable from the plug icon in the top bar).
- Tap Connect Polar.
- Sign in to Polar Flow with your Polar account.
- Allow Pelaris to access your training data.
On iOS and Android, connect Polar once in a browser at coach.pelaris.io, and it syncs straight back to the app.
What syncs
Runs, rides, swims, and strength sessions recorded on a Polar device or the Polar Beat app, once they have synced through to Polar Flow. Pelaris imports sport, start time, duration, distance, average and maximum heart rate, and calories.
Where it shows
A synced Polar session completes the matching planned session for that day in Train, and Today shows it done. Unplanned sessions, ones Pelaris did not plan for you, are arriving as their own entry in Train in a coming update.
Disconnect
Open Connected Apps and disconnect Polar from its card. You can choose to also delete the imported data, or keep your training history as it stands. Either way, new sessions stop flowing.
No watch, no problem
You do not need a Polar watch to use this. Install Polar Beat, sign in with your Polar account, and record a session from your phone. It syncs to Polar Flow the same way a watch session does, and flows into Pelaris from there.
