Manage your notifications

Pelaris keeps in touch by email, on your phone and in the app. You choose what arrives and where, and you can change it any time.

What Pelaris sends

Coach updates are about your own training.

• Weekly Lighthouse: a weekly reflection on your training.
• Monthly Lighthouse: a deeper monthly story.
• Lifecycle moments: a welcome, a note when your program is ready, and milestones.
• Celebrations: a cheer on your phone when you set a new best.
• Fresh start nudges: low-pressure prompts when a fresh start may help.
• Training-day reminders: a heads-up on your phone on days with a planned session. More in training-day reminders.

They can reach you in three ways: by email, as push notifications on your phone, and in the app.

Change them in the app

1. Open Profile. On a phone, it sits under More.
2. In Preferences, tap Notification Settings.

There you can:

• Use the main switch to turn everything on or off.
• Turn each type on or off, and choose its channels: In app, Email and Push.
• Set How often for push: Standard, 3 a week or 1 a week.
• Set Quiet hours, which are 21:00 to 07:00 until you change them.

The preferences link at the bottom of any Pelaris email opens the same Notification Settings, once you sign in.

From an email

Every Pelaris email has an Unsubscribe or manage emails link at the bottom. It opens a page that lists every email type, each with its own on/off button.

• The email you came from sits at the top, with a one-press Stop button.
• Unsubscribe from all emails is the full-width button at the bottom. One press does it, with no sign-in and no survey. You then see a confirmation, and you can Undo it for 30 minutes.
• Sign-in links and referral reward notes still arrive after you unsubscribe, because they are about your account.
• Unsubscribing from emails leaves phone and in-app notifications as they are. Manage those in the app.

Your mail app’s own Unsubscribe button, in Gmail, Apple Mail or Yahoo, also stops that type of email straight away.

You can also email unsubscribe@pelaris.io from the address you want removed, and we action your request within 5 working days. For anything else, write to hello@pelaris.io.

Phone settings

Your phone also has to allow notifications from Pelaris.

• iOS: open Settings, then Notifications, then Pelaris.
• Android: open Settings, then Apps, then Pelaris, then Notifications.

If they are off on your device, Notification Settings in Pelaris shows Notifications are off on this device with an Open settings button.
